Week of Sep 8, 2026

New

  • What's new is live under Help & Support in the app, and on flobuildr.com/updates. Same notes in both places.
  • Account credit on a customer: grant it, zero it, or let it build from overpayments. Apply a dollar amount on an invoice the same way you apply a discount; it prints as a Credit line on the PDF.
  • Linked logins — if you have more than one FloBuildr email, connect them from About Me so every company you belong to shows up when you switch companies.
  • Lead intake fields — choose which fields a new lead captures, which are accepted, and which are required.
  • Charge a card on file on an invoice, or without tying the payment to an invoice first and apply it later from payment history. Customers can also pay in the portal with a saved card.
  • Dashboard — a widget for unassigned leads and jobs, with optional color coding (for example, red when the count is high).
  • Mobile — home is no longer jobs-only. From the first screen you can open accounts, company expenses, add a lead, or look up property info.
  • Mobile — add a lead from the field in a short flow.
  • Mobile — upload and open documents, within the same permissions you already have on the web.
  • Mobile — company expenses can be added from the app the same way as on the web.

Improved

  • Photo markup is a full editor: square, circle, arrow, date/time stamp, text on shapes, drag to reposition, and a toolbar. Saved job photos can be marked up after upload; the original date, time, and GPS stay on the file. Web and Mobile.
  • Photos on a job's dashboard summary are clickable and open that photo on the Photos / docs tab.
  • New lead: Create saves the lead with no meeting; Create and Schedule saves it and opens a calendar to book the first meeting. Both screens keep the people assignments.
  • Receipts are charge or credit, defaulting to charge, and the totals follow that choice.
  • Pipeline no longer uses an Advance button. Each job shows last touched — the last time someone took an action on it.
  • Switching companies from the avatar menu is clearer when you belong to more than one.
  • Signing overlays stamp more cleanly on estimate and contract PDFs.
  • Supplier items with limited, zero, or unknown availability or price can still be added on templates and the worksheet, with a notice to call your sales rep.
  • Round-up on estimate, worksheet, and template lines defaults to on.
  • One line item can have more than one auto-total (they sum).
  • Waste can be added on labor lines, not only materials. Following lines keep tracking waste. Qty and qty-plus-waste both show where they apply.
  • When a catalog item has options, you can leave the option blank on a template; when you use it on an estimate, worksheet, or PO, FloBuildr prompts you to pick one (suggested, not required).
  • Save a supplier-populated line into the line-item library.
  • Duplicate a template.
  • Mobile — camera zoom is pinch-to-zoom the way the phone already works, including 0.5x.
  • Mobile — opening the nearest job by GPS is not gated on being clocked in.
  • Mobile — permits and inspections show attachments and a details view.
  • Mobile — the job dashboard progress area matches the billing summary cards from the web, still filtered by your permissions.
  • Annual billing can be paid by bank (ACH) only, matching how the plan is priced.

  • Mobile — native camera zoom levels (including 0.5x) now show on supported devices.

  • Inbound web leads land more reliably, including incomplete address or contact fields.
  • Supplier live pricing on templates no longer drops the price when you reopen the template.

  • AI connector (MCP) — connect FloBuildr to an assistant you already use, with the same tools as in-app chat plus the user guide.
  • Control — a finances view across the jobs you are watching, not only the one job you have open.
  • Clock in from the web, with a faster path to capture a jobsite photo while you are on site.

Improved

  • QuickBooks can sync the full job bundle (customer, class, invoices, bills, receipts, payments) when the job is ready — not a one-time toggle you have to remember.
  • Email on estimates, invoices, and portal messages shows delivery more clearly.
  • Stripe payout descriptions split so deposits are easier to match in the bank.
  • Company billing top-ups and finance settings on the plan page.

  • Lead source on a job, so you can see where the call or form came from.
  • My jobs — a focused list of work assigned to you, not the whole company pipeline.

Improved

  • Invoice line sections show more detail when you are picking what to bill.
  • Supplier (SRS) orders can carry the FloBuildr job so the distributor ticket matches the job you are running.
  • Live supplier pricing stays on when you are connected; the old on/off QuickBooks-style toggle for that feed is gone.

  • Offboarding — when someone leaves, reassign their jobs, tasks, and calendar so work does not sit on a login you are about to remove.
  • A new in-app AI assistant with better job-aware answers, plus AI price suggestions on estimates from regional and company history (you still review before they hit a quote).
  • Payouts to subs from the job, tracked with the rest of the money.

  • QuickBooks syncs when there is something to sync, instead of a constant background push.
  • Processing fees can be passed through in full when a customer pays online.
  • Trial and plan pages spell out what happens when the trial ends.
